Belonging to different ethnicity and beliefs, United Arab Emirates has been home to many peoples for generations and a majority of them are meat-loving individuals. But with time, the food preferences of people have been changing drastically as most of them are inclined towards adopting a vegan lifestyle by eliminating the usage and consumption of dairy and neat-abased products. As a vegetarian, Vandana has always been passionate about cooking and exploring the innovative culinary delicacies that are rarely heard and tasted by the mass. After moving to Africa with his husband, Vandana not only noticed the unavailability of apt vegetarian dishes but promptly started taking cooking classes for friends and close-knit associates who were also deprived of vegetarian dishes, despite of any professional training in the culinary arts field, her passion had driven her towards a path of creativity and innovation throughout. Vandana's journey as a culinary professional started there, and after shifting to Dubai in 2001 with his husband, she was stunned to discover the opportunities offered by the multi-cultural Dubai market and laid the foundation of her Culinary Courses institute by the name of Vandana Jain Culinary Courses.

As a woman who is eager to make a mark across the vegetarian segment of the food and beverage domain of the UAE market, which has always remained unaddressed until now, Vandana encountered her share of obstacles while starting her journey as a woman tutor and entrepreneur. Participating in various cooking competitions, Vandana honed her culinary abilities by adherently engaging herself in research, learning, and unperturbed dedication. "Cooking is all about interest and innovation and even today if any of my students ask me to prepare something different, I never say no to them. I take my time to experiment and renovate the dishes by the trial-and-error method. After succeeding, I convey the same to my students and this positive attitude to learn and thrive is the reason behind my success" states Vandana Jain, Founder, Vandana Jain Culinary Courses.

A modern culinary training center that aims to make proficient and professional chefs by educating them about vegetarian delicacies, Vandana Jain Culinary Courses has emerged as an impeccably extraordinary and modern institution that caters cooking courses to all age groups. "Catering ABC courses for beginners who are new to the cooking domain and MasterChef diploma courses for professionals, I have helped many of my students to establish themselves in this domain by opening their bakery, restaurants, and catering services from home also. Apart from extraordinary vegetarian dishes, I am also focusing on easier and quicker vegan dishes by keeping an eye out on the current eating habits and preferences of my present customers, mostly comprised of working millennials. With completely vegan, gluten-free, and sugar-free dishes, we are also known for preparing Indian sweets without any added white sugar, brown sugar, or jaggery, but only plant-based sweets, as per our students' demand who want to enjoy the dishes without gaining calories," shares Vandana Jain.
