Give Us A Brief About Intellect Partners. What Are The Key Features Of Your Expertise You Would Like To Highlight Through This Article?
Intellect Partners is a New Delhi based IP firm which ensures to extend support for the entire IP lifecycle of the clients through its comprehensive patent research, licensing, and monetization services. The firm helps the world’s most respected brands and patent aggregators to navigate today’s complex and demanding IP landscapes. Intellect is known as the ability to come to the correct conclusion about what is true and to provide related solutions. Intellect Partners provide a perfect blend of technology experts who share the common goal of offering technical expertise in Intellectual Property matters to its clients.
I am working with Intellect Partners for the past five years, providing my clients with the right strategies to monetize their portfolios through the usage of reverse engineering and my technical expertise in fields such as Information Security, Cloud Computing, Databases, Semiconductors, Computer Networks, Financial Systems (EMV/IFX, OFX), IoT, Wireless and Mobile Communication.
Tell Us About Your Educational Journey And Your Prior Industry Experience. What Motivated You To Venture Into This Field And Specialize As A Patent Professional?
I completed my graduation with B. Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from BRCM College Bahal Haryana in 2015 followed by two years of work experience in the IP Industry with CPA Global (now Clairvate) and Effectual Services.
My interest in analytics developed when I was in college, but it is a complex procedure of identifying, evaluating, enforcing, and protecting IP, and where many companies face difficulties to attain the full potential of their IP. Only a specialized and experienced IP consultant can go a long way in simplifying the daunting procedures, this challenging aspect inspired me to specialize as a patent professional.
What Are The Challenges You Face As The Manager At Intellect Partners? What Has Been The Most Significant Milestone That You Have Achieved And What Has Been The Driving Force Behind Your Successful Journey?
As per my current role in Intellect Partners, I head the organization’s complete onshore IP Delivery team of thirty experts as well as handling synergies between different teams and cross-connecting with client’s expectations is the major set of activities. The most challenging aspect of a manager is towards handling experts from multiple domains verticals including Semiconductors, Telecommunications, and Software. There are sometimes when I shuffle between different technological fronts and it becomes challenging, but it does allow me to have cross-domain expertise and directly deal with corporate IP Counsels of US/EP tech giants including Ericsson, Micron, NPE clients, and IP Law firms.
"Choose your passion and follow that, no matter what. The initial hard work pays off in the most fruitful manner going ahead"
The most significant achievement that I consider is being awarded with employee recognition awards and helping my corporate clients close valuable closing deals with reputed corporations including FACEBOOK, IBM, Salesforce, CISCO, and Google amongst others. Constant appreciation from the clients, management, and team has been the driving force behind my successful journey as a professional.
What Trends Do You See Developing In Indian Ip And Patent Advisory Industry In The Coming Years? How Do You Keep Yourself In Tune With The Latest Updates In Your Respective Work?
Based on my seven years of experience in serving in IP Industries across different geographies including the US and Europe, the Indian IP ecosystem is still developing at a very young stage. This is partially attributed to less patent filing activity and India is still not an attractive destination when it comes to IP litigation settlement and enforcement. The concentration of Indian IP Advisory firms has increased in recent years this could be a catalyst for the growth of IP ecosystems in India. Technology is always evolving, so one must be flexible with the changes and needs of the clients for that, it is important to keep track of the updates and then use a multistep process to determine which new service we should learn and implement. While it can be staggering how much technology growth and evolution affect the world, it is amazing to have the opportunity to witness it all.
As A Successful Professional What Advice Would You Like To Give To Young Girls And Women Who Are Aspiring To Start Their Careers In This Field?
My advice to all the girls and women working in IP is to choose the field that makes them happy and satisfied being it Patent Analytics, Monetization, Trademark, Copyrights, etc. Choose your passion and follow that, no matter what and the hard work will pay you off in the most fruitful manner in the coming future.
