Ranya Zaben: Helping You Channelize Your Inner Powers To Find Fulfilment

Ranya Zaben
Founder & CEO, Akyasi Services

According to the ICF, life coaching is a part of the $2.85 billion industry of professional coaches. Though sometimes the definition of a ‘life coach’ may be fuzzy, it is growing exponentially. Most people, especially under the age of 30, today, are unable to strike balance. They grew up under a traditional setting, but by the time they were 15, technology overpowered. Life became about the ‘virtual’ image. So, often, they find it difficult to express themselves and are largely left feeling unfulfilled. This, has thus led to the growth of life coaches, globally. Ranya Zaben, is one of the leading names in this industry. She also is the Co-Founder of Akyasi Services, a first mile solution that integrates between the end user, shopping district, and the logistics operations via a new and unique mobile application catered to facilitate a seamless and hassle-free experience for the consumers.

It is designed to make shopping fun again, by using technology, and allowing the consumers to completely enjoy their shopping journey. Ranya works with clients from different walks of life to help them find their calling and higher purpose.

She guides them so they can get motivated to move outward and forward reaching their dreams while living a more fulfilled life. In an exclusive interview with Women Entrepreneur, Ranya, tells us about her journey as a life coach and the motivation that kept her at it.

Please Give Us An Overview About Your Journey As A Life Coach?

I decided to become a life coach when the communication with my teenage kids felt like a ‘chore’. It was in 2019. I felt this gap between us, there was something missing. They could not connect to me and vice-versa. I didn’t want that negativity to persist, so, I approached life coaches, read books and worked toward improving the communication.

I studied across different schools, each gave me a new learning. Some gave me the tools, some taught me hypnosis and counselling sessions. However, it was not enough. I kept digging and wanted to understand the entire dynamic of it myself so I could help others too. So, I don’t just coach, but I make coaches. My aim is that everyone, like me, is able to get a control of their mind and accordingly approach people in their life.

We all have this throbbing question, what is the key to a happier, healthier life? My job is to give you the tools and techniques to achieve a balanced and fulfilling lifestyle. After several sessions, you will become well-versed at handling issues whenever and wherever they arise.

Tell Us About More As Many Call It, ‘The Formative Years Of Your Life’.

I always believed in ‘beyond’. Whatever, I did in life, I kept my focus too, tilted that way. As far as my career is concerned, I worked as a banker to understand the institution through which money flows. Soon, I realized of my innate interest in marketing and sales. So, I worked for the same till I felt that gap with my children. Then, I researched, looked beyond, and decided to take this up as a full time profession.

What Are The Challenges That Clients Come To You With?

My clients comprise of Millennials, who are stuck in any area in their lives, or overwhelmed with negative feelings and want to change that. When they come to me, they explain how everything around them is affecting them. What they often forget is, ‘it is all in the mind’. After they have vented out, I slowly break through and help them channel their inner self.

"I wish to continually work together with my clients by bravely going within to find their inner unicorn, the source of all the hidden gems, that will fuel the dreams they aspire to achieve"

The answer is right there, within you!

Please Shed Light On Your Aims And Aspirations.

I hope one day I will be able to help as many as I can from this particular generation as its been proved that they were the unluckiest generation, economically. Helping others channel their inner powers so they are fulfilled in life. My purpose is to help people find their inner calling and live joyful, fulfilled lives. I wish to continually work together with my clients by bravely going within to find their inner unicorn, the source of all the hidden gems, that will fuel the dreams they aspire to achieve.

The traditional vs the virtual (tech-oriented) world have brought this gap. So, its important to bridge this and help, especially, that generation of young people understand that its okay ‘to move on’. And, we as parents need to imbibe the new world learnings and not stick to the tradition of ‘yester-years’. Everyone, in a couple of years, will need a life coach. I want to help each, to become their own coach.

What Would Your Advice Be To Young Women And Girls Aspiring To Become Leaders And Entrepreneurs In The Future?

Connect with your inner self to have absolute clarity on what you really want to be and achieve. Don’t go after money, it will never give you fulfilment. Stay focused and don’t be distracted with what is going on around you.

Life throws many surprises at us, and while we cannot predict the outcome of any situation, we can take control of how we respond to certain situations. With my coaching sessions, you’ll learn about acceptance and how to exert your power of choice over whatever life may throw at you.
