Ramya Sidharth: Empowering Individuals To Recognize Their Inner Potential
Ramya Sidharth
Founder & Director, The Tatwa
Accept it or not, but it’s a fact that an impressive, credible and a likeable image is the key to success in today’s world. Projecting a charming image to create a powerful impression is direly important in personal, professional and social life. After all everyone wants to be successful in life, but the proof of success is heavily dependent on others. Hence, if what you think about yourself is not projected right, it leaves a poor impression to your surroundings, thus affecting what they think of you. This is the kind of significance a positive image of an individual holds in their life. People nowadays are aware of this factor, and they try to enhance their personality and image by consulting various solution providers like personality development & grooming experts, stylists & communication experts, and others. However, this is also a fact that a person’s image is a combination of several characteristics, which only an Image Consultant can understand, distinguish and help enhance comprehensively. One such Consultant and Trainer is Ramya Sidharth (Founder & Director of The Tatwa), based in Bangalore, who offers best-in-class solutions to people to develop a healthy winning image in all areas of life.
Shannon L. Alder, an American Author once quoted “Personality begins where comparison leaves off. Be unique. Be memorable. Be confident. Be proud.” Same is the ideology of Ramya, as she believes in the aforementioned quote to a great extent. Ramya believes that every human being is born with raw potential, but it’s just the factors like lack of confidence, limitations or sometimes resistance that holds them back to realize their true potential. Through her inception, The Tatwa, Ramya aims to toss away the resistance out of her clients, while helping them identify and overcome their challenges efficiently.
The Tatwa’s vision statement is - Reshape, Recreate and Transform. Following which, Ramya starts with reshaping a customized solution while focusing on her client’s real personality and understands their present life circumstances, their personal & professional roles and goals. She then combines her expertise and knowledge to work with them on their attitude, skills & abilities, along with their outer appearance, image, style & performance, in order to recreate the enhanced personality. She then guides them to achieve those goals, while creating a powerful impact, hence transforming their life. Ramya, in an exclusive conversation with Women Entrepreneur India, reminisces about her journey and delineates about The Tatwa’s offerings.

Tell us more about yourself and your inception – the Tatwa.
The Tatwa was founded in 2016 with an aim to provide top-class coaching & training to individuals while helping them discover their inner potential. Besides rich experience in global corporates, I believe that I’m blessed to have learnt some of the unique techniques that help me to provide the best level of guidance to my clients. What I love about my work is that I guide people in overcoming the greatest fear, and that is the Fear of Public Speaking and Communication.
Taking about myself, and my certifications & accreditations, I am a Communication & Etiquette coach, a certified Image consultant and also a NABET certified soft-skill trainer. I am also one of the finalists of Mrs. India World - 2019.
What are the services that you are offering to your clients? What do you consider as your forte?
Our forte is into commination and our training & counselling offerings include Faculty Development Program, Personality Development, Corporate Training, and Image Management, which are all focused on finding inner potential and enhancing confidence. Apart from that we also offer some unique programs like Train the Trainer which is specially crafted & customized for trainers in the corporate industry. Also, we have launched ‘Women Back to Work’ programmes for women who are getting back to work after a break. This is a unique programme offered for all the budding entrepreneurs and the women who are getting back to work after a break. We teach them on Image Management, email writing skills and all the skills required to resume their professional career.
Tell us about a factor that differentiates the Tatwa from others in the industry.
Whenever a workshop or a knowledge sharing session is conducted for a group of people, not everybody is ready to accept whatever is offered at all times. Training should actually make the participant think and facilitate one to bring out the change from within. The Tatwa strives hard to achieve exactly the same. Our endeavour is to deliver customized training programmes based on the requirements of individuals and organizations. Our work doesn’t just focus on the actions of an individual, but we also work with their inner values like thoughts & beliefs for the transformation. This is a major factor that helps us stand apart in the crowd.
What are the kind of milestones that you have achieved? Can you share some with us?
Though there are many milestones, I would like to mention a few of them. I offered trained to a movie industry producer for public speaking. Though he is outstanding in producing, still he was not able to archive 100 percent in the marketing segment. As a consultant & trainer, I helped him overcome his resistance and guided him to achieve the confidence required for marketing. That was a great experience for the producer and me as well. Another, I’ve conducted and trained a very famous sports coach on Train the Trainer module. He was so happy that after our coaching he landed up with four job offers and is heading entire south in his current company.
What is waiting in the future for the Tatwa?
In the coming years, we expect to enhance our service portfolio while expanding our workforce. Apart from that, some exciting developments in the pipeline include training our team with technologies to operate remotely with full pace.
