Take Us Through Your Educational And Professional Journey Before Venturing Into Entrepreneurship. How Are You Leveraging The Best Of Your Experience Across Your Company?

I am a commerce graduate with expertise in finance and accounting. After getting married, I moved to Bombay from my native (Udupi). The city has brought a lot of opportunities, one of which was joining a logistics firm. Previously, before establishing Isa Logistics, my networking and learning’s have been immense. The learning continues, however, I could work for nearly 3 years and understand the nitty-gritty of the sector, business, and more. This board experience is helping me deliver prompt training to our team and beyond-satisfactory services to the clients.

Give A Brief Overview Of Your Brainchild. Highlight The Services Offered By The Company.

Isa Logistics was established in 2011 to be a strategic logistic partner that offers trust, transparency, and quality in logistics and supply chain management. We started as pure transport contractors. In 2014, after gaining significant knowledge, we started owning our vehicles and in 2018 we curated a fleet of trailers. Today, Isa Logistics is a complete service provider across the shipping, logistics & transport verticals. We have been offering the full range of logistic services including import and export services, CFS Activities, Freight Forwarding, Warehousing Solutions, Value Added Services, Fourth-party logistics, Project Cargo, and more.

Though our beginning has been very humble, today we are moving at a very fast pace to provide global logistics solutions in India.

What Makes Isa Logistics A Unique Brand In The Sector?

As mentioned earlier, we are an end-to-end solution provider that embraces utmost quality in all the verticals including CFS activities, Forwarding, warehousing, and 4PL. What makes us even more unique is our strong team that can deliver these services promptly and diligently. Today, our team of 30 strong professionals works towards synergizing our abilities and experience to deliver excellence. We are driven by innovation and use our experience to provide a long-term and sustainable supply chain mechanism for clients’ businesses.

What Business Challenges Did You Have To Overcome As A Founder And Leader?

As you start your journey as an entrepreneur, challenges are inevitable. The challenges a logistics and supply chain sector faces are myriad and the tools and strategies we employ to create tangible impact for clients are also unique and brand dependent. A few major challenges were breaking the technology clutter and being heard by the customers. But today, we have embraced technology to manage everything. We have launched various applications for freight management, shipment tracking, and several other use cases.

“Hard work & determination is the key to growth and success”

What was even tougher as a challenge was the funds and financial resources. We started with very little funds gathered from friends and a closed circle. Starting a business is not as shiny as it seems, even the banks were reluctant to provide loans. Carrying out day-to-day operations also seemed like crossing the sea, but we never gave up. Although it took close to 5 years to get everything on track, we never failed to persevere, and today the growth is evident.

What Has Been The Driving Force Behind Your Success?

I believe that success comes with hard work and determination. But it is also underpinned by a supportive life partner and family. My brother who takes care of various operations at Isa Logistics, and my family collectively encourage my endeavours.
