Highlight some interesting aspects about your brainchild. We at Kaara offer the best décor solutions to our clients. Both our interior and outdoor services focus on the longevity of the products once delivered. With rich experience and having worked on some amazing projects over the past 5 years, our in-house creative team's attention to detail and meticulous care results in interiors and exteriors that often exceed our clients’ dreams.

How does Kaara ensure customer satisfaction?

I believe that all our products must be grounded in a realistic reading of client requirements, budget, quality, and output the customer gets out of it. Therefore, with a deeply rooted passion 201845and experience, we will learn about clients' lifestyles, tastes, and aspirations, in essence, we learn what is important and customize the products accordingly. Based upon the needs and budget, a concept is created for discussion. This will be presented in the form of draft layouts showing space utilization, any structural modifications, and furniture layouts. We produce options that will be best suited to their requirements such as Wooden Flooring, Specialized Flooring, Outdoor Décor, Artificial Grass, Preserved Trees, Mother of Pearls, and so on. We would also produce a draft Cost Plan which includes provisional sums for any works along with an outline program.

We truly believe that good quality design is life-enhancing and deliver it in every project we undertake. No project is small or big to us, we put in the same efforts for each and every client. Each project is seamlessly executed and beautifully finished, irrespective of size.

How did you get into entrepreneurship in the niche area of business?

I believe that without ambition, one starts nothing and without work, one finishes nothing. I did realize that my calling and ambition lies in art and design at a very young age. I obtained my foundation degree in design from LASALLE College of the Arts, Singapore, and then completed BA in Interior Design from the University of the Arts, London.

My journey taught me that beyond design, products are the key ingredients of space. So, when I came back to India in 2017, I wanted to establish a company that focuses on products. We have curated our products in such a way that they are of the best quality with varieties in design, colors, and more for both interiors and exteriors.

What are some of the most challenging aspects of your role at Kaara and how do you overcome them?

Everything in this world is either an opportunity to grow or an obstacle to keep you from growing. It's we who should decide on what we want to pursue. As a person with huge self-belief and optimism, I endured all of it as a constructive opportunity. I did come across a few hurdles during the initial days of my career. When I took up entrepreneurship as a 23-year-old in this male bastion, the leadership positions here were the sole preserve of men. Often people used to refer to me as Sir on the first conversation assuming that it must be a man. People have also asked me to connect with my boss, thinking that a young female cannot be a leader.

None of it intimidated me. My family has always treated me and my brother equal and I know that women are also capable of doing anything that a man can.
