Take us through your life’s formative years & the trajectory of your professional journey.
My entrepreneurial journey was quite different than others’ and began far earlier than most.
After relocating to Nagpur, I transitioned into a new chapter of my professional journey. The foundation of this was built on my pre-marriage qualifications in computer management, health services, and skin treatment procedures. With 100+ specialized trainings across 12 countries, I aimed to bring the latest advancements to deliver safe, effective, and lasting results every year- a commitment we proudly call our Family Plan. I have completed the Derma Program, UK (NHS) and the Doctor Program in Clinical Research, gaining global exposure to advanced dermatological practices.
I have further specialized with a Diploma in Dermatology, a Diploma in Cosmetology, and a Diploma in Trichology, establishing a strong foundation in skin, hair, and aesthetic sciences. I have also earned a Diploma in Naturopathy & Yoga Science (DNYS) and pursued Postgraduate studies in Yoga & Naturopathy (U.S.A.), blending natural healing with modern clinical practices. In addition, I hold a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.), where my research focused on the effect of Namokar Mantra chanting in reducing arthritis, muscular diseases, obesity, and skin problems, while also improving hair growth.
What led you to specialize in cosmetology & trichology and establish your own practice with Dr Richa’s Unique Clinic?
Through my professional engagements at leading conferences in India and abroad, I intentionally compared healthcare standards across cities. The results were shocking and the gap was evident as Nagpur lagged behind metro hubs in providing essential medical treatments. In 2000, the situation was compounded by minimal public awareness about available options.

By 2020, internet awareness had transformed how people accessed information, a stark contrast to 25 years ago, when such knowledge was scare in Nagpur. The shift was evident and recognizable, owing to which we saw the need to enhance training and build a strong, well-equipped facility in the city. To shift the dynamics of beauty standards, I established my first clinic in Nagpur in 2000, with a vision to restore confidence and well-being for all ages and every gender catering to skin, hair, obesity & lasers.

With determination and technological advancements, I was able to transform my small clinic into a large and fully equipped center.

How has your journey as a cosmetologist & trichologist progressed over the years?
I believe in staying ahead of the curve by adopting new technologies and treatments before they become mainstream. With market and patient needs evolving day by day our philosophy is to embrace the best and the most diverse technologies available.
In trichology, our journey began with ozone and bio-light machines for basic hair treatments. With years of experience in hair transplantation and a constant drive to update technology, our clinic continues to lead through innovation and adaptability.

A single belief drives me personally that not a single moment on life should be wasted. My academy also extends it services to doctors and professionals eager to expand their skills, ensuring that knowledge and opportunity are accessible to all. Through our renowned academy, we have trained 2,000+ doctors and 6,000+ students in cosmetology and trichology while successfully treating 25,000+ patients.
