KM Gayathri, Chief Executive Officer of Zilla Panchayat, urged women's self-help groups to utilize the Sanjeeveni Santhe initiative, a state government program, under the National Rural Livelihood Mission, which aims at promoting women's homemade food products and other locally available items. Women participating in this initiative can sell homemade food products, including pickles, snacks, and banana chips, as well as juice powder, grains, and organic manure.
In addition, to encourage women to be more independent and self-sufficient, using the Sanjeeveni Karnataka State Livelihood Promotion Society and developing their brand can bring out employment chances. After reviewing the development works being in progress at the Hadinaru gram panchayat in Nanjangud taluk, the CEO also emphasized the significance of completing tap water connections under the Jal Jeevan Mission and renewing job cards for women under the MNREGA scheme.
The ZP CEO further expressed dissatisfaction with Hadinaru gram panchayat's progress in property surveys and requested the timely completion of all households and families survey reports. She visited Koosina Mane, a facility for MNREGA women workers' children in order to ensure a nutritious food supply for them, and appreciated the GP's efforts in attracting children and assessing local health facilities.
