Yogi Govt abolishes Restrictions on Night Coaching for Female Students

The Yogi Adityanath government abolished the prohibitions on after-hours instruction at women's and girls' coaching facilities. This choice was made as an aspect of the Safe City Project, which uses CCTV surveillance to guarantee the safety of women, children, and senior citizens in educational institutions.
Guidelines regarding the safety of girls in private coaching institutes have also been released by the government, delegating accountability for the protection of girls from the moment of their arrival until they depart from the coaching institutes. In order to allow girls to get home on time, the guidelines state that coaching centers are not allowed to offer classes for girls after a specific time in the evening.
In cities, a lot of women work 9 to 5 jobs and attend classes for competitive exams. Many of them only have time for coaching in the afternoon and evening after attending college in the morning. According to a government spokesman, the goal was to "ensure the safety of every individual," not to "restrict any citizen's movement."
"There was some misunderstanding over the previous order. There will be no restrictions on anyone's class timings according to the most recent regulations. He added, "We'll also make sure that female students are safe.
New Safe City project guidelines mandate the installation of high-quality CCTV cameras at all entrances and exits of educational institutes, including classrooms and common areas, and will also establish separate toilets for female students in higher institutions, particularly coaching centers.
