A movement beyond the digital space, developing a safe, supported environment
Yodda, a leading technology company, proudly unveils Yodda TRYBE, an innovative community platform created exclusively for women. Now available as a mobile app, TRYBE goes beyond a digital space—it's a movement dedicated to safety, solidarity, and self-empowerment.
TRYBE was created as a part of Yodda's vision to improve safety and improve quality of life as no woman should ever feel alone on her journey. If you are commuting late at night, if you've arrived in an unknown place, if you're trying to be well, you deserve access to the tools you need, a community that is there for you, and the confidence that we all deserve.
TRYBE uses Yodda’s trusted technology to give women the tools they need, which has already saved thousands of lives across India. TRYBE offers innovative features such as voice activated emergency discovery, if a user cannot speak, they can simply say "Help Me," "Bachaao," or "Emergency" to activate an alert and broadcast a live audio feed that is sent to their TRYBE.
The "Watch Over Me" feature allows for real-time sharing of location for assistance in exigencies or stressful environments, while the unique QR code for emergencies allows Good Samaritans to alert the proper authorities for urgent and personalized assistance for users. In addition to safety, TRYBE focuses on emotional safety and well-being with an active community hub and pens, with curated articles, content about wellness, self-care, and expert talks.
Simran Sharma, Co-founder, Yodda summarizes TRYBE as more than an app, it is a promise to stand together to ensure that every woman, wherever she is, and whenever she is feels alone should know she is not alone. In a time when our safety and mental well-being is at a heightened vulnerability, TRYBE is addressing this growing need by supporting women in an increasing workforce, in the urban context.
The launch of TRYBE is Yodda's next stage from being solely for the senior demographic to serving as an all-inclusive safety ecosystem. TRYBE is available for download on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. Safety features are available in a monthly subscription starting at Rs. 249, to provide security and peace of mind at a reasonable cost.
