YFLO Appoints Dr. Payal Kanodia as New Chairperson for Delhi Chapter

Dr. Payal Kanodia has been appointed as the new Chairperson by the women's section of FICCI, the Young FICCI Ladies Organisation (YFLO) in Delhi for the years 2024-25. In addition to this, Dr. Payal is a promoter in the M3M Group and also the Chairperson and Trustee of the M3M Foundation. She is taking charge of the YFLO Delhi chapter, which has been instrumental in driving positive changes and empowering women. The theme for this year is "Unleash Mind, Body, and Soul," aiming to inspire generations and leave a legacy of empowerment and progress.
On her appointment, Dr. Payal addressed the event and mentioned that she has always mentioned the capacity India holds to leverage its female workforce in order to become the first nation to have an economy valued at USD 10 trillion. India's 16 million women-owned enterprises employ 30 million individuals, with over 10 million women aiming for leadership roles. Female-led MSME owners employ 25 per cent of the workforce, and IMF projections suggest a 30 per cent GDP boost with equal women's participation.
She further states that women control over $20 trillion in annual consumer spending globally with a potential $28 trillion increase in the next five years. They produce 60 per cent of goods and services, making them the largest buyers and investors. YFLO aims to align and develop women entrepreneurs from both urban and rural regions in Indian society.
Dr. Payal is also the Director General of India-Kosovo Tarde Relations expert and has received numerous accolades during her entrepreneurial journey.
