On her appointment, Dr. Payal addressed the event and mentioned that she has always mentioned the capacity India holds to leverage its female workforce in order to become the first nation to have an economy valued at USD 10 trillion. India's 16 million women-owned enterprises employ 30 million individuals, with over 10 million women aiming for leadership roles. Female-led MSME owners employ 25 per cent of the workforce, and IMF projections suggest a 30 per cent GDP boost with equal women's participation.

She further states that women control over $20 trillion in annual consumer spending globally with a potential $28 trillion increase in the next five years. They produce 60 per cent of goods and services, making them the largest buyers and investors. YFLO aims to align and develop women entrepreneurs from both urban and rural regions in Indian society.
