Women's Hockey Team Competes for Bronze against Great Britain, Other Women Events at Tokyo Olympics

India is set to resume its Olympic campaign on Day 14 after another spectacular day. They have already confirmed five medals and have the opportunity to add a few more today.

"The Indian Women's Hockey Team will play against Great Britain in their Bronze Medal match. 

Place: Oi Hockey Stadium, North Pitch

Date: 6 August

All eyes will be on the Indian women's hockey team, who will compete for bronze against Great Britain. The men's team's victory will provide the ladies with all the motivation they need ahead of the crucial match. The two teams met in the group stage, and the Indians were defeated 5-1. They will try to even things out in order to win their first Olympic medal.

Haryana's Seema Bisla will compete in the 1/8 final against Tunisia's Sarra Hamdi. Today, India will compete in three athletics events. In the men's and women's race-walking events, Gurpreet Singh, Bhawna Jat, and Priyanka Goswami will compete. The Indian men's relay team will also compete today, with their first heats taking place on the track.
