Wipro is One of India's Top Workplaces for Women: Report
By: WE Staff | Thursday, 29 September 2022
According to Great Place to Work India, Wipro is among the best workplaces for women in India. A global platform called Great Place to Work is dedicated to creating, maintaining, and honouring high-trust and high-performance cultures.
Before settling on 10,000 organisations each year, it investigates companies, nonprofits, and governmental institutions in 60 nations across six continents.
The study claims that it was chosen because it succeeded in a number of areas, including having at least 10% of its workforce be female and having at least 70% of its female employees provide favourable feedback. Other areas where the IT firm excelled were exceptional working conditions, gender equity, and equitable representation at all levels.
Sunita Rebecca Cherian, Chief Culture Officer of Wipro Limited, commented on this development by saying, "We take great pride in our diverse and inclusive workforce, and our strong sense of togetherness forms the crux of our success. To be recognized among India's Best Workplaces for Women 2022 is a testament to our high-performance, diverse, and inclusive culture. We are focused on ensuring that our people thrive and express themselves freely and are a fundamental part of our workplace and our interactions with our clients and our communities."
Shiv Nadar School, Deloitte India, Cisco Systems, Tata Communications, and Infosys are a few of the other Indian businesses that made the list.
