Women Inspiring Network (WIN) brought together world leaders during Climate Week New York 2025, which was convened simultaneously with the 80th United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).

The WIN Lounge was a forum for dialogue on sustainability, innovation, business, and culture, as per a press release. Organized by WIN founder Stuti Jalan, the event saw participation by more than 50 leaders from over 20 nations.

The conference began with a keynote address from Jayant Chaudhary, Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship; and Minister of State for Education, who stated the need for skill development for the future labour force of India, as the synergy of skills, technology, and industry is already impacting the future in the present day.

He stated that skill development must be accompanied by industry-academia interface and inclusive, sustainable growth.

The WIN Lounge hosted a total of 10 panels throughout the day, where they discussed several topics, including clean energy, sustainability in culture, changing climate and capital markets, plastic pollution; gender and climate; women in wealth; and climate legacy.

Speakers came from various industries like technology, finance, law, fashion, nonprofits, and academia. Some of the prominent participants were Karen Quintos (former CMO and CCO, Dell Technologies), Maggie Liu (Microsoft), Elizabeth Yee (Rockefeller Foundation), Ajaita Shah (Frontier Markets), and Amanda Ellis (ASU Global Futures Lab).

Looking back at the event, Stuti commented that the WIN Lounge has turned into a platform for varied global voices to share ideas and create actionable strategies. She mentioned that with previous events in Davos, Cannes, and India, the initiative has become global in reach.

Stuti remained positive about finding effective ways to drive sustainability efforts and recognized backing from partners such as Pillsbury, Trend Micro, Frontier Markets, and Masimo.

As part of the program, WIN also had special podcast episodes with Geetha Murali (CEO, Room to Read) and Kathy Diaz (Chief People Officer, Cognizant) recorded to carry the conversations forward.

Stuti added that the Lounge started off with a fireside chat with Minister Jayant on India 2047: People Powering a Green Future, which presented a vision for India's green and inclusive growth.

WIN announced that among its future engagements will be Horasis in Brazil, Newsweek in London, and a second visit to Davos in 2026.
