Women Inspiring Network (WIN), in association with Goals House, organized a closed lunch roundtable at the revamped Kathika Culture Centre in Old Delhi.
The event, “From India to the World: Shaping India’s AI Playbook,” was organized in the context of the AI India Impact Summit and brought together an invite-only list of leaders from the technology, policy, investment, and culture spaces.
The roundtable was organized in a carefully designed manner with three discussion tables, starting with keynote addresses and followed by inter-sectoral discussions over lunch.
The list of invitees included Anne Marie Engtoft Meldgaard, Tech Ambassador, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Denmark; Deepankar Sanwalka, Senior Partner, Grant Thornton LLP Bharat; Harita Gupta, Global Customer and Employee Experience Leader, Sutherland; Kanika Tekriwal, Co-founder & CEO, JetSetGo; Roma Datta Chobey, Managing Director, Google India; and Sarika Naik, Group Chief Corporate Responsibility Officer, Capgemini.
The list also included policymakers, investors, founders, and leaders engaged with AI, public policy, design, education, sustainability, health, and social innovation.
The roundtable, organized in the characteristic manner of Goals House, was an open, workable, and action-filled discussion. The emphasis was on dialogue rather than presentation.
With the ever-evolving impact of AI on economies and societies across the world, India is building a unique paradigm based on inclusion, affordability, indigenous knowledge systems, and regional languages. This is catalyzing innovation in multiple sectors.
Stuti Jalan, Founder of Women Inspiring Network, said, “The groundwork for India’s AI future has been laid by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and the energy is infectious. AI is the future, and it’s heartening to see young India engage so passionately. This meeting was an opportunity for us to bring together different leaders to create an inclusive and responsible AI playbook – not just for India, but for the world.”
