WIFI DX & ToT organize Event focusing on Improving Women Entrepreneurs' Digital Skills

The Women ICT Frontier Initiative (WIFI DX) and Training of Trainers (TOT) event titled "Empowering Women Entrepreneurs through Digital Transformation" was held at Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam (SPMVV) in Tirupati. This event focused on equipping women entrepreneurs with essential digital skills to thrive in the modern business landscape.
The WIFI DX program equips women entrepreneurs with digital skills, including e-commerce, marketing, and data analytics, to manage disruptions and leverage digital transformation whereas the ToT program trains individuals to train others, fostering digital empowerment and enhancing business operations. The event was attended by key dignitaries of SPMVV and UN-APCICT representatives including District Collector Dr. S Venkateswar and Director of UN-APCICT/ESCAP Dr. Kiyoung Ko. The event marked a significant milestone in promoting digital skills among women entrepreneurs in India, highlighting the Women ICT Frontier Initiative's eight-year focus.
Dr. Kiyoung Ko mentioned, "We have expanded from two courses to six, covering topics like digital marketing and AI applications." He added, "SPMVV is a strong partner in rolling out WIFI in India and beyond. I hope it becomes a powerhouse in empowering women entrepreneurs, positioning India as a leader in female-led business innovation." He announced the addition of WIFI DX and plans to introduce WIFI AX to expand the program's reach and encourage students to seize digital entrepreneurial opportunities.
