  • WENN organized 'Regulatory Business Compliance and Documentation' Workshops
  • Supported by SIDBI, the workshops aim to equip Women Entrepreneurs with essential knowledge
  • The initiative hopes to prepare Women Entrepreneurs to thrive in today's competitive business environment

The Women Entrepreneurs Network of Nagaland (WENN) has conducted workshops on 'Regulatory Business Compliance and Documentation' across Dimapur, Niuland, and Peren districts. The initiative, supported by the Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI), aims to equip women entrepreneurs with essential knowledge on regulatory compliance, documentation procedures, financial literacy, trade license processes, Udyam and FSSAI registration, and government schemes for entrepreneurs.

In an official statement, WENN mentioned, "This initiative is part of WENN's ongoing mission to strengthen the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Nagaland by nurturing informed, capable, and confident women entrepreneurs prepared to thrive in today's competitive business environment."

The session, attended by officials from the District Industries Centre and entrepreneurs from Nagaland, involved interactive modules, peer discussions, and experience-sharing to provide practical insights into operating within formal frameworks and accessing government support for business development. It simplified legal and procedural requirements, boosted confidence in navigating formal business structures, and fostered networking and collaboration among women entrepreneurs.

WENN, launched by GIZ India as part of the Her&Now project, empowers women entrepreneurs in Nagaland through mentorship, training, networking, and financial literacy. It bridges entrepreneurial gaps, connects women to markets and investors, and supports the establishment of formal business structures.
