Wacoal India & CPAA launch #WacoalKnowsBreast Initiative

Wacoal India, a Japanese lingerie brand, has launched its third #WacoalKnowsBreast initiative in partnership with the Cancer Patients Aid Association (CPAA). The initiative aims to raise breast cancer awareness and encourage women to prioritize their health, with Wacoal India contributing Rs 10 for every bra purchased in October. The collaborative funds raised aim to empower women and provide essential resources, education, and support services promoting early detection practices among women.
In order to symbolize Pink October which aligns with breast cancer awareness, Wacoal India will distribute 'Pink Bands' in every store purchase. Pooja Merani, COO of Wacoal India mentioned, "At Wacoal, we strive to make a positive difference in every woman's life through meaningful initiatives, Breast cancer awareness is critical not just in India but globally, and we are proud to once again collaborate with CPAA to support this cause. With this third partnership, we hope to further our reach and impact, ensuring that our efforts bring real change to those who need it the most."
In addition to this, CPAA CEO Alka Bisen emphasizes early detection and treatment for breast cancer in India, partnering with Wacoal to ensure awareness and support for treatment.
