A Pinkathon event promoting women's professional development was held by the Union Bank of India in collaboration with the Empower Her Committee in Raipur. In order to encourage women providing them support, guidance, and training in skill development, the event was organized by these firms.
Union Bank of India's dedication to advancing women's careers and supporting diversity and inclusion in their bank is showcased in this project. These firms are addressing the barriers and biases women face in the workforce and proactively promoting the career development of women in the workplace.
To promote unity, empowerment, and physical health, Pinkathon is organized as a women's running competition. It seeks to raise awareness about breast cancer and advance women's overall health. In an effort to promote community, celebrate health, and raise money for cancer research, participants are dressed in pink and run or walk to a certain point. This event also promotes the value of exercise, taking care of yourself, and also the need to help each other.
The Union Bank of India and Empower Her Committee have planned to extend this event of Pinkathon which will help in promoting continuous guidance and implement expert advice and support. By creating a supportive network, the leaders will be able to motivate the emerging participants and provide professional advancement.
