Tushar Ramani is named the new CEO of Women's Care

Following a thorough nationwide search, Women's Care, a top provider of healthcare for women, today names Tushar Ramani, MD, as the organization's CEO. Dr. Ramani has more than 30 years of experience as a healthcare professional, business owner, and executive. Most recently, he served as CEO and Chairman of CRH Medical Corporation, which is now a subsidiary of Well Health (TSX: WELL) company.

Women's Care's expertise in practise management enables providers to completely focus on caring for and producing high-quality outcomes for patients, supported by up-to-date clinical guidelines and best-in-class data management, thanks to a growing national network of obstetrics and gynaecology doctors, specialists, and providers. Women's Care was established in 1998 and is now available in Arizona, California, Florida, and Kentucky. It is owned by its medical partners.
Tushar has led and expanded both private and public firms, bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience to the multi-site medical services sector, according to Michael Chang, chairman of Women's Care. He has a demonstrated history of creating value for shareholders by fusing strategic insight with operational know-how.
"Tushar is kind, inquisitive, and driven," added Dr. Ignacio Armas, Chairman of Women's Care in Florida. "He is a visionary executive who has helped companies like ours reach their full potential. We are excited to have him leading our team."
Dr. Ramani co-founded Anesthetix, a nationwide anaesthetic practise and contract management business, prior to CRH Medical Corporation; TeamHealth later purchased Anesthetix. During his three years as president and CEO of TeamHealth Anesthesia, Dr. Ramani expanded the company to more than 500 physicians throughout 23 states. Additionally, he has held director or CEO positions in the behavioural health, radiology, dental, acute care telehealth, and pharmaceutical industries.
Graduate of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania's Jefferson Medical College, Dr. Ramani went on to complete his residency at New York, New York's Mount Sinai Medical School.
