By: Women Entrepreneurs Review Team | Tuesday, 6 October 2026
TiE Mumbai, in collaboration with FIS and AROH Foundation, has launched the Women Entrepreneurship Support Program, a free six-month cohort-based initiative aimed at helping women entrepreneurs strengthen and grow their businesses. The program will provide participants with access to knowledge, mentorship, industry networks and opportunities to support their entrepreneurial journey.
Limited to 35 selected women entrepreneurs, the program is designed to offer a focused and practical learning experience. Participants will connect with successful entrepreneurs and industry leaders, gain insights into the startup ecosystem and build valuable relationships that can open new opportunities for business growth and expansion.
Commenting on the initiative, Naveen Raju, Executive Director, TiE Mumbai, said, “Women entrepreneurs bring immense creativity, resilience and ambition to the entrepreneurial ecosystem, but access to the right networks, mentorship and growth opportunities can often determine how far a venture can go.”
Key Highlights:
- TiE Mumbai, FIS, and AROH Foundation have launched a free six-month program for women entrepreneurs
- The cohort will select 35 women entrepreneurs for mentorship, masterclasses, networking, and hands-on learning
- The program aims to connect participants with founders, industry leaders, investors, and startup ecosystem opportunities
Through the Women Entrepreneurship Support Program, our aim is to bridge that gap by creating a platform where women founders can learn from experienced leaders, connect with investors and peers, explore market opportunities and gain the confidence to scale. We are delighted to partner with FIS and AROH Foundation on this initiative and look forward to building a strong cohort of women entrepreneurs who can create businesses, jobs and lasting impact.
Dr. Neelam Gupta, President & CEO, AROH Foundation added “Over the past three years, our Women Entrepreneurship Support Program (WESP), supported by FIS Global, has grown into a meaningful platform for women who aspire to become entrepreneurs and build sustainable livelihoods. More than 800 women entrepreneurs have been trained, mentored and empowered through the program.”
We know that with the right mix of opportunity, knowledge, confidence and mentorship, their journeys have proven that women can turn their dreams into businesses and their businesses into sustainable livelihoods. This year, we embark on this new chapter with the addition of a valuable dimension along the path with TiE Mumbai, the globally recognized network of entrepreneurs, entrepreneurship mentors and investors and a larger entrepreneurial ecosystem.
Through the culture of mentorship, networking, and entrepreneurship that TiE Mumbai engenders, we will develop more avenues for women to gain access to knowledge, markets, partnerships and growth opportunities. We want to go beyond training. It's to empower women to establish resilient businesses, generate jobs and develop into confident leaders in their families and communities.
Entrepreneurship is for us not only the creation of businesses; it is the creation of choices, of dignity and economic independence. All women entrepreneurs can create opportunities for many other women. We are tremendously proud of this new journey with TiE Mumbai and can't wait to spread the spirit of WESP to many more women and help them become not just a part of economic growth but its creator.
The program includes customized design to ensure it is beyond the traditional classroom, offering learners access to the ecosystem, real-world exposure and expert mentorship too, alongside hands-on master classes. Selected entrepreneurs will get to know from the trenches from experienced founders and industry experts as well as understand the challenges and opportunities associated with building and scaling a business.
Over the course of the six-month program, participants will be provided with expert mentorship from seasoned founders and industry leaders, master classes and hands-on learning experiences to build their start-up skills. Additionally, the program will provide access to investors and other key stakeholders in the startup ecosystem, where participants can discuss funding and growth opportunities.
