The Elephant Whisperers, Directed by Kartiki Gonsalves & produced by Guneet Monga Wins the best documentary film at the Oscars 2023

The Netflix-streaming documentary film 'The Elephant Wishperers' won the Best Documentary Short film award at the 95th Academy Awards, popularly known as Oscars. The Oscars 2023 was held on 13 March 2023 at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles.
The documentary was directed by Kartiki Gonsalves and produced by Guneet Monga who thanked his team at the Oscars. After the award ceremony, Kartiki took to Twitter and appreciate the efforts of its cast and crew members. She said "Two women did this! I am shivering." This winning documentary was listed along with other four film's including 'How Do You Measure a Year?' 'Haul Out', 'The Martha Mitchell Effect', and 'Stranger at the Gate'.
The documentary film was completely based on two abandoned infant elephants and their carers along with the unbreakable bond they shared in the Mudumalai Tiger Reserve of Tamil Nadu.
India bagged another Oscar for the song Naatu Naatu from the film RRR which became worldwide famous in the 'Original Song' category.
