Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has announced a new MSME policy in Telangana, providing large funds at zero interest rates empowering women entrepreneurs to help them start and grow their businesses. This move is part of a broader effort to promote economic diversity and strengthen the economy. The aim of the initiative is to turn women in business into successful entrepreneurs.
CM Revanth Reddy stated, "We are committed to turning women into successful business owners" explaining that the government plans to provide loans totaling several lakh crores without interest to support women groups. The government is implementing this policy to enhance the working conditions of women in business, offering financial assistance and promoting a more diverse industrial sector.
CM Reddy praised Hyderabad's IT and infrastructure development, citing policy continuation by previous governments. He also announced a Young India Skills University fund and addressed farmers' suicides, suggesting diversification of income sources and crop loan waivers. The zero-interest loans aim to remove financial barriers, encourage innovation, promote economic inclusivity, create jobs, and support rural women. The initiative aligns with the national agenda of increasing women's participation in the economy and contributes to Telangana's efforts in fostering an entrepreneurial environment.
