- Technip Energies onboarded 280 trainees across its India businesses during 2025
- The recruitment drive centered on leading engineering campuses, including IITs and NITs
- Is an indicator of the company's intent to create a future-ready and diverse workforce
Technip Energies, the global technology and engineering company, has inducted 280 fresh trainees for its operations in Delhi, Chennai, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, and Dahej this year. This campus recruitment drive in large numbers was done at premier engineering colleges, such as the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and National Institutes of Technology (NITs), reflecting the organization's dedication to creating a future-ready and diverse talent pool to serve domestic as well as international operations.
"Within Technip Energies, our ambition goes beyond hiring — we believe in building a workforce that mirrors the future we want to build: inclusive, ambitious, and poised to lead," stated Judy Manjlekar, Director of People and Culture – India and APAC.
This adds gender diversity into the company, with nearly 60 percent of the recruited trainees being women, thus significantly reinforcing the company's commitment to inclusivity and increasing female representation in core engineering and project-based roles.
"Developing the right talent pipeline is a strategic imperative", state Davendra Kumar, Managing Director, Technip Energies India. “This next generation of trainees will be instrumental in driving innovation and enhancing our project delivery capabilities."
This induction occurs at a critical moment for Technip Energies in India. Previously this year, the company made a press release announcing the opening of a new office in GIFT City in Ahmedabad and setting up a world-class Research & Innovation Center at the IIT Madras Research Park in Chennai. These new offices further increase Technip Energies' ability to cater to both domestic as well as international markets.
Structured learning programs create a knowledge-rich environment for employees at Technip Energies, thereby encouraging continuous development and career growth. It also collaborates with leading academic institutions to drive energy transition initiatives through industry–academia collaboration.
