Under the captaincy of current men's team Captain Rohit Sharma, MI is the most successful team in the men's IPL. He led the team in a great way and grabbed numerous awards. Rohit's team has become the winner of IPL five times in the years, 2013, 2015, 2017, 2019, and 2020.

The leading winner of IPL, Mumbai Indians has shown their utmost support to the Indian women's cricket team by purchasing one of the franchises in the inaugural season of WPL. They paid INR 1.80 crore for Harmanpreet Kaur who is a great player and achieved the most number of runs and caps in the T20I.

The team's social media account recently posted a video that shows captain Harmanpreet Kaur expressing her delightfulness for being a part of MI. She mentioned her feelings that she is eager to join the team which she adored for years.

Harmanpreet has been cherishing her male counterpart Rohit's captaincy skills for MI. She also stated that she will give her best to carry on the legacy of MI and make sure to win the title. She adopts the way Rohit manages his team and plays an aggressive style of game.

When asked about her leadership skills, Harmanpreet responded that she always tries to be aggressive on the field as this emotion makes the opposition pressurized. She makes sure to support each member of her team.

The coaches who have been selected for Mumbai Indians are Charlotte Edwards (Head Coach), Jhulan Goswami (Bowling Coach and Mentor) Devika Palshikar (Batting Coach), and Lydia Greenway (Fielding Coach).

Harmanpreet is looking forward to working with 'Jhulu Di' again and expressed her excitement about this. She also mentioned about Charlotte that she is a great player and she will surely learn many things from her.
