Tandem Diabetes Care Names Sandra Beaver to Board of Directors

• Tandem Diabetes Care, Inc. announced the appointment of Sandra Beaver to its board of directors
• She will serve as an independent director on the board

Tandem Diabetes Care, Inc. is a leading company in insulin delivery focused on advancing technologies for individuals with diabetes. The Company has appointed Sandra Beaver to the Board of Directors beginning on November 7, 2023.

Sandra will serve as an independent director, a member of the Audit Committee of the Board, and a member of the Cybersecurity and Data Oversight Committee.

John Sheridan, President and Chief Executive Officer of Tandem Diabetes Care, said of Sandra's appointment, "Her deep experience in finance will be invaluable as the Company scales its business and pursues digital health and new markets."

She has over 20 years of international experience with strategic and operational finance roles in healthcare, medical devices, gaming, technology, and manufacturing.

She is currently the Chief Financial Officer at Lyra Health, overseeing finance, accounting, investor relations, facilities, procurement, and corporate development. 

Before joining Lyra Health, Sandra served as the Chief Financial Officer of a public medical aesthetics company, Evolus, and previous to that held senior finance roles at Experian and IGT.

She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts and a Professional Designation in Relational Database Design from UCLA.
