Global apparel retailer H&M has announced the appointment of Yanira Ramirez as its new country sales manager for India. She succeeds Janne Einola, H&M India's country head who stepped down from his position last year and will head the India operations based out of H&M India’s head office in New Delhi.

An official statement adds, “Previously Global Sales Manager for &Other Stories, Yanira takes over as H&M India’s new Country Sales Manager and will be based out of H&M India’s head office in New Delhi.”

According to financial filings, H&M has witnessed a 22 percent decline in India net sales between Dec 2019 to Nov 2020 as compared to 20 percent decline in company’s net sales globally.
