Subu Kota Foundation Provides a Multi-Year Support of $25,000 for the TiE Boston Women Program

The Subu Kota Foundation has provided $25,000 multi-year support for the TiE Boston Women Program, stated by Boston-TiE. It is the largest grant this firm has ever received. The TiE Boston Women's Pitch Competition will receive support from this sponsorship during the years 2023, 2024, and 2025.

Successful serial entrepreneur and angel investor Subu Kota is also the founder and CEO of The Boston Group. At the TiE Global Retreat in Rio, Mr. Kota announced his recent commitment to invest $100,000 in women-founded firms in Brazil. He has long supported initiatives and events that support women.

The Chairperson of the Foundation, Subu Kota addressed the event and stated his passion for making a difference in the community and providing opportunities and resources to Females. In order to level the playing field for women-led businesses in England, the company is excited to collaborate with TiE Boston. The final pitch of this competition will be held at the PTC Headquarters in Seaport, Boston on August 30, 2023. There will be a networking reception and a tour of the PTC Labs. The announcement of the Boston Winner and two Runner Ups will be at the event’s grand finale.

During the event of TiE Boston's 2023 Women Pitch Competition, 11 exceptionally skilled screeners reduced the initial applicants to six finalists. The winners will also represent Boston at the TiE Women Global Finals in Singapore. During the final pitch, angel investors, venture capitalists, and business executives will hear the finalists. The winner will compete for $50,000 in equity-free cash and $1m in investments while representing TiE Boston at the TiE Women Global Pitch Competition in Singapore.
