state government is working for women empowerment, says Congress leader Kakani Govardhan Reddy

Kakani Govardhan Reddy, an MLA from Sarvepalli and a YSR Congress leader, said the state government is focusing on women's empowerment and has designed numerous programmes to help them.

 He handed out a bank linkage cheque for Rs 97.69 crore to Manubole's SHGs. According to Kakani, the majority of SHGs in the Sarvepalli constituency are paying their loans on time, therefore banks are willing to help.

Local ladies, he added, were donating chicken worth Rs 29 lakh to 726 families. Opposition leaders, who once dismissed agriculture as a wasteful activity, are now crying crocodile tears and demanding the welfare of the farming community, according to Kakani. He said that these long-serving officials failed to fix the NH-16 in the district. Even though there is a scarcity across the country, Govardhan Reddy said they were giving fertilisers, seeds, and other help to the district through the RBKs on a timely basis.

He stated that they were prepared for an open discussion about the country's development during the previous 30 months. The legislator presented beneficiaries with housing paperwork, appointment orders for freshly recruited volunteers, and certificates for differently abled people.
