Sqn Ldr Toolika Rani designated as G20 Brand Ambassador for Uttar Pradesh

Squadron Leader Toolika Rani is considered to be the first woman from Uttar Pradesh to climb Mt Everest, In addition to that she is the first Indian woman to scale Asia's tallest volcano, Mt Damavand, in 2012.
Toolika Rani, a former Indian Air Force Officer has been named the brand ambassador of the G20 summit in Uttar Pradesh by the state higher education department. As a G20 summit brand ambassador, Toolika will participate in several functions organized by universities and colleges across Uttar Pradesh.
While addressing, Toolika Rani mentioned "It is an honor and privilege to get appointed as the event's brand ambassador. I will influence students to divert their energy to constructive things and contribute towards the economic development of U.P."
She has accomplished a total of 24 climbing and trekking expeditions in India, Nepal, Bhutan, Iran, and Africa which includes Mt Kilimanjaro in Africa and Mt Elbrus in Russia. She is both an assistant professor of history and an internationally recognized motivational speaker (TEDx). She has been honored with 17 awards, that includes the Global Woman Award from FICCI and Rani Laxmibai Bravery Award from U.P. Government. Toolika Rani also served as the brand ambassador for the Election Commission's SVEEP (Systematic Voter Education and Election Participation) campaign of India in the U.P. Assembly Elections in 2022.
