Special Courses for Women Founders announced by DWEN & YourStory

Only 6 per cent of the total investments are women-founded and co-founded start-ups in the Indian startup ecosystem. Dell Women's Entrepreneur Network (DWEN) and YourStory are collaborating to help and guide female entrepreneurs with common challenges, scale their businesses and ultimately succeed in order to change this narrative so that more number of women can achieve their entrepreneurship ambitions.

A series of online courses and in-person mixers with subject matter experts will be provided collaboratively by DWEN and YourStory in this project to help female entrepreneurs navigate the exciting but difficult journey that is entrepreneurship.

The female founders will be provided accurate knowledge, advice, best practices, and subject matter experts that are crucial for startups looking to scale and raise funding through these specially selected courses.

The program will include different sections that will provide the best guidance and knowledge, which include,

Growth hacking is a technique that focuses on quick testing and experimentation of various marketing strategies and tactics to find the one that works best for accelerating growth for an early-stage startup.

Both acceleration and incubation aim to give startups the tools and support but their methods and priorities are different. Incubation provides a supportive environment whereas acceleration focuses on rapid growth and scaling.

This program will also provide knowledge about funding avenues that will help the founders make clear decisions about where to fund and how to fund in different places.

This will guide the founders on how to precisely pitch to convince the investors and clients.

Apart from these, some strategies about technology, innovation, brand building, etc. will be taught to the female founders and co-founders during this program.
