Smriti Mandana & Harmanpreet Kaur Shine as India Defeat West Indies in third T20I Tri-Series Match

In the T20I Tri-Series, Smriti Madhana (74*) and Harmanpreet Kaur (56*) made two brilliant half-centuries to defeat West Indies by 56 runs which resulted in the victory of the Indian women's team.

Throughout the match, Smriti and Harmanpreet altogether made 115-run scores with ease and even cleared the rope from the bowling Afy Fletcher in the penultimate over of the innings.

To have any chance of meeting the required score, the team West Indies needed to have a great start but their hopes were soon destroyed when Dipti Sharma (2/29) and Rajeshwari Gayakwad (1/16) helped reduce Hayley Matthews’s team to 25/3 in the seventh over.

After the successful win against South Africa, Shemaine Campbelle (47) and Matthews (34*) of team West Indies were fully prepared against team India but the bowlers in the blue kept thing's tight to ensure they remained unbeaten in the series.

The upcoming matches of the T20 World Cup for team India will be against Pakistan will be on 13th February in Cape Town, while the West Indies will play against England on February 12 in Paarl.
