Rajiv Rai Bhatnagar, LG's advisor, stated on Monday that India places a high priority on inclusive growth and development, with women's representation and empowerment at the center of its G20 discussions.
He made these statements while addressing the audience at the two-day international conference held on the topic 'Gender Sensitisation: Rights, Policies and Issues' that was organized by Cluster University Srinagar.
The conference, which is being organized in partnership with J&K Bank and the Human Welfare Voluntary Organisation, aims to discuss various aspects of gender sensitivity and its implications for gender equality.

To prove his statements he used the examples such as the "Beti Bachao Beti Padhao" campaign, the "Mahila Shakti Kendra" initiative, the "Working Women Hostel" project, and the "Sukanya Samridhi Yojana.
According to the Advisor, the UT government of J&K has been taking major steps to establish a gender-inclusive eco-system to improve the overall educational and job opportunities for women.
