Sify Technologies appoints Padmaja Chunduru as Director on the Board

Leading Information and Communications Technology (ICT) provider company in India, Sify Technologies Limited has appointed Ms. Padmaja Chunduru as the Director on its Board. Ms Padmaja is a career banker holding significant roles at India's largest bank, the State Bank of India (SBI), in India and the United States. She served as the MD & CEO at the National Securities Depository Limited (NSDL) prior to joining Sify Technologies.

Padmaja Chunduru took over as Indian Bank's MD and CEO in September 2018 and left in August 2021. In the face of Covid challenges, she skillfully oversaw the merger of Allahabad Bank into Indian Bank during her tenure. She was appointed by the government to the position of MD & CEO of the National Securities Depository Ltd (NSDL) following her retirement. She is an Andhra University postgraduate in commerce. She has worked in the banking industry for about 37 years. She spent almost forty years working for the State Bank of India (SBI) as a probationary officer when she started her career there in 1984.
