Mayor Pushyamitra Bhargava led a pledge to eliminate single-use plastics and commit to using cloth bags every time they shop for groceries.

He spoke about the importance of community participation (especially by women) to help Indore keep its high standards for cleanliness, as well as waste segregation within own homes and how citizens can support the Waste to Best Initiative by taking reusable items to one of the City’s 3R Centres.
