Roopali Sharma & Others elevated to Senior Management Roles at Havas Media Group India

Havas Media Group India has announced significant advancements for its senior management. The North operations have been consolidated under two unit heads: Roopali Sharma, who has been with the company for 8 years, and Harbir Singh, who has been with the company for 6 years. They have been promoted to the position of managing partners - Delhi. Chandradeep Kumar has completed his five-year tenure and has been promoted to senior vice president (Delhi).
“As a senior resource, the key task for me is to drive the strategic thinking for brands creating innovative solution platforms to achieve their objectives and making them more meaningful to their consumers, also as business head, maximising revenues for organisation by going beyond briefs and basing the media strategies on strong and executable ideas and not just template based planning,” says Roopali.
Prior to this, she has worked as Marcon Manager at LG Electronics, Media Director at Cheil Communications.
Manish Sharma (previously vice president – Delhi) will serve as executive vice president and head of Mumbai. He has been with the company for more than 5 years. North and West will continue to report to Uday Mohan, president – North and West India, who has been a rock at the agency for the last 13 years.
Saurabh Jain will continue to lead Bangalore. He has been with the agency for over 6 years and has recently been promoted to the position of managing partner – South.
As the agency expands its digital footprint in the region, Rohan Chincholi has been promoted to head of digital, where he will oversee and consolidate the overall digital business/services across markets. Chincholi is back at Havas Media for the second time. In 2017, he returned to the agency.
