Rijul Maini, a medical student from Michigan, was recently crowned Miss India USA 2023. Saloni Rammohan of Pennsylvania won the title of Miss Teen India USA, and Sneha Nambiar of Massachusetts won the title of Mrs India USA, at the annual pageant held in New Jersey,
The first runner-up was Greeshma Bhat from Virginia, and the second runner-up was Ishita Pai Raikar from North Carolina.
This year marks the 41st year of the pageant, which is the oldest Indian pageant held outside of India. It was started under the Worldwide Pageants banner by two Indian-Americans residing in New York, Dharmatma and Neelam Saran.
Ms Rijul Maini, a model and medical student, has been named the new MISS INDIA USA 2023. She plans to become a surgeon and inspire women by being an example. She expressed gratitude on Instagram for her success.
She continued by expressing gratitude to her family specifically her mother, and Gauri Designs for curating stunning outfits for her stage performance. She also thanked her family for their support and the opportunity to participate in the IFC Worldwide Pageants.
Around 57 candidates from over twenty-five states competed in three different pageants: Miss India USA, Mrs. India USA, and Miss Teen India USA, according to the organizers. The three category winners will receive free plane tickets to compete in Miss- Mrs- Teen India Worldwide.
