Ridhima Rajput helps J&K score 201-run victory over Meghalaya

Young all-rounder Ridhima Rajput from J&K was the architect of her team’s victory over Meghalaya in Women’s U-15 One Day Trophy. Played at the Barasat Cricket Ground in Kolkata, J&K team etched a big victory of 201 runs.
The upcoming cricketer scored 45 runs and took 5 wickets. Her performance played a key role in J&K’s spectacular win.
J&K won the toss and chose to bat first. The team amassed a total of 259 runs in all 35 overs. The team lost four wickets during its batting. With a score of 62 in 73 balls, Mannat Dofara was the top scorer. She also had nine boundaries in her kitty. Ridhima Rajput scored 45 runs off 57 balls with seven boundaries. Alisa Jan who was also the opening batsman, made 42 runs off 47 balls with a total of eight boundaries. Meghalaya bowlers including, D Sangma, A Marak and D Biswa took one wicket each for Meghalaya.
J&K played a spectacular second innings with the whole Meghalaya team getting bowled out for 58 runs in 31.4 overs.
Ridhima Rajput took five 5 wickets by giving out just 7 runs in 7 overs. Ayushi Ambardar took two wickets for 13 runs in her 5.2 overs. One wicket each was taken by Ananya Dogra and Reyanshu Rani.
