Ram Mandir Ceremony: Saina N, PV Sindhu & Mithali R to Attend

Ace Indian badminton player, Saina Nehwal reached Ayodhya on Sunday to attend the much-awaited Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha ceremony which is to be held on Monday, January 22. Many celebrated personalities from across the country have reached the city before the inauguration of the newly constructed temple.
Saina is one of the Indian sportspersons to have received the invitation to the holy ceremony. Upon her arrival in Ayodhya on Sunday eve and expressed her elation at being invited to attend the holy ceremony.
Speaking to the media upon her arrival, Saina said, “I think this is my fortune that I could come here. We are celebrating after several years…We are awaiting the moment when the temple opens and we get to see the idol. It feels great to be here. The way the city has been decorated is fantastic.”
Earlier in the day Indian cricketing legends Anil Kumble and Venkatesh Prasad were also spotted at the Lucknow airport ahead of the ceremony. These former cricketing stars are one of the many famous cricketing personalities to have been invited for the Ram Mandir inauguration.
Women sports stars such as PT Usha, PV Sindhu and Mithali Raj have also been invited to be a part of the holy ceremony.
