Rakhi Agarwal, SANOFI's Global Head of Supplier Diversity & Risk, welcomed as Board Of Directors by NaVOBA

Rakhi Agarwal, global head of supplier diversity and risk at Sanofi, is enthusiastically welcomed to the board of directors of the National Veteran-Owned Business Association (NaVOBA).

To make sure the organization is focused on providing the greatest benefit to both Corporate Allies who work to include Certified Veteran's Business EnterprisesTM (VBEs) and Certified Service-Disabled Veteran's Business EnterprisesTM (SDVBEs) in their supply chains as well as the veteran-owned supplier firms of all sizes, two-thirds of the Board of Director seats on NaVOBA are required to be held by corporations.

Rakhi's experiences enable her to bring important skills to the table. Rakhi Agarwal is now SANOFI's AVP, Global Head of Supplier Diversity and Risk. She serves as the president and board chair of the non-profit organisation "Discover." Rakhi is a visionary leader in procurement and supply chain management with over 20 years of extensive industry expertise. She has had a variety of responsibilities during her career with organisations like J&J, Merck, and BMS, among others.

Rakhi has an MBA in Operations Management from the University of Southern Indiana and a BS in Supply Chain Management from Michigan State University's Eli Broad Business School.

Rakhi is an authority on negotiation and risk management. She has had numerous articles published in the magazine "Inside Supply Management," and most recently, the USC Marshall School of Business honoured her with the Women's Leadership in Supply Chain Award in recognition of her efforts, passion, and dedication to promoting diversity and inclusion in the supply chain.
