Priyanka Chopra Jonas Joins Bvlgari as Brand Ambassador

Bvlgari announced today that Priyanka Chopra Jonas has joined its team of brand ambassadors. According to the company, in her role for the brand, the actress-producer will assist the Roman high jewellery house in the amplification of its brand around the world, with a particular focus on the themes of women empowerment, diversity, and inclusion.

According to the company, India holds a special place in the hearts of Bvlgari employees because it not only provides a constant source of inspiration, but also some of nature's most precious gems to craft our creations, from jewellery to fragrances, says Bvlgari CEO Jean-Christophe Babin.

In 2020, the company announced a collaboration with the world's leading perfume and flavour company, Firmenich, on a sustainable flower farming project called "Flower Gems of India." The goal is to develop a new jasmine farming model involving 100 family-owned farms in Tamil Nadu, providing local communities with an alternative approach to jasmine production in order to increase profits and improve flower quality.

Chopra Jonas says she has been captivated by Bvlgari's magnificent works of art, many of which celebrate some of India's most valuable resources.“At the same time, I endeavor to align myself with brands that recognise their social responsibility. Bvlgari has made great impact in their efforts to support children in need around the world, and I look forward to working together to continue that work."

Babin adds, "Together we will develop exciting projects, with a significant social impact. We already partnered in the past on another famous luxury brand and know each other very well.”

Bulgari is a luxury Italian brand known for its jewellery, watches, fragrances, accessories, and leather goods. While Bulgari oversees and executes the majority of design, production, and marketing, the company does occasionally collaborate with other entities.
