The "Year of Positive Change" program will be officially launched by President Draupadi Murmu at the Prajapati Brahmakumari Ishwariya Vishwavidyalaya in Raipur today where Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh, Bhupesh Baghel and the state's Governor, Biswabhusan Harichandan will also mark their presence to commemorate the event.
The two-day visit to Chattisgarh was started today by the President of India. During these two days, the President will participate in a number of events in Raipur and Bilaspur.
President Draupadi Murmu will mark her presence at the Guru Ghasidas Central University, Bilaspur at their convocation ceremony held tomorrow.
In addition to this, she will also meet with Raipur's primitive tribal community representatives tomorrow.
The President will arrive in Raipur with her daughter Itishree. She will travel to Delhi Airport from the Rashtrapati Bhavan and then Depart for Raipur on a special Air Force Aircraft. After reaching Swami Vivekananda Airport, the President will meet Mayor Ejaz Dhebar, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, and Governor Vishwabhushan Harichandan along with them Raipur Collector Sarveshwar Narendra Bhure, Chief Secretary Amitabh Jain, SSP Prashant Aggarwal, and DGP Ashok Juneja will be present to welcome her.
