President Murmu attends Udyan Utsav Celebrating India's MSMEs

President Droupadi Murmu attended the Udyam Utsav at Rashtrapati Bhavan, a 10-day event celebrating India's Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). The event, organized by the Ministry showcases the contributions of artisans, entrepreneurs, and small businesses. It features seven thematic pavilions, live pottery demonstrations, cultural performances, and a model of Chandrayaan.

The event, which lasts 10 days, is open to the public from 20 March 2025 to 30 March 2025 through Gate Number 35 of Rashtrapati Bhavan from 10 am to 8 pm. It highlights the contributions of small businesses, artisans, and entrepreneurs across the nation fostering economic growth. The event will showcase seven pavilions showcasing Heritage & Handicrafts, Green MSME Technologies, Women Entrepreneurs, Tribal Enterprises, Organic & Agro-based products, PM Vishwakarma & Tribal Entrepreneurs, MSME Business Support Pavilion, and Khadi & Village Industries (APRATIM).

Visitors will also experience India's cultural heritage through Hunar Sangeet performances, nukkad natak, saree draping sessions, and puppet-making demonstrations. People can also witness a special spot with PM Vishwakarma Scheme showcasing traditional trades with toolkits and live pottery demonstrations. The dedicated pavilion will be under the Ministry of MSME and Tribal Entrepreneurs.

Udyam Utsav features a key attraction, Chandrayaan model for an immersive experience, regional delicacies, food stalls, and interactive AR/VR zones, ensuring an engaging experience for attendees with a variety of cuisine and traditional crafts. The event will showcase over 60 stalls with products for sale and display by artisans and entrepreneurs.
