On 17 September 2025, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch the 'Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar Abhiyaan' as part of initiatives aimed at improving healthcare services for women and children in India.

Union Health Minister JP Nadda stated that the program will attempt to increase services and access to healthcare, improve the quality of care, and increase awareness.

The campaign will feature 75,000 health camps at Ayushman Arogya Mandirs, Community Health Centres, and other health facilities. The concept is to target healthier families and empowered communities throughout the nation.

Private hospitals and healthcare stakeholders were also encouraged by Nadda to come aboard this public participation initiative enthusiastically.

In addition, some more government schemes remain intended for women's health support, as Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana (PMMVY), Janani Suraksha Yojana (JSY), Beti Bachao Beti Padhao (BBBP), Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana (SSY), and Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY).

These schemes incentivize women's health, incentivizing women's institutional deliveries, addressing gender bias and issues, while providing free LPG connections to below-poverty line (BPL) families.

The 'Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar Abhiyaan' aims to increase effective health service capacity delivered to women and children across India. This initiative will increase access to quality health care and awareness, benefitting families and empowering community health status.
