Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to address the 'Women Empowerment Mega Conference' at the Jamboori Ground in Bhopal on Saturday, May 31, 2025. The event will involve around 2 lakh women, including entrepreneurs, workers, Self-Help Groups (SHGs), and Laadli Behnas, as informed by the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Dr. Mohan Yadav, during the state cabinet meeting held at the State Secretariat in Bhopal.
During the event, PM Modi will virtually inaugurate the Indore Metro Train Service, Satna and Datia airports, and the Kshipra River ghat construction in Ujjain. CM Mohan instructed the ministers in charge of Bhopal, Sehore, Raisen, Vidisha, Narmadapuram, Rajgarh, Dewas, Sagar, Betul, Harda, Narshinghpur, and Shajapur districts to make the necessary preparations.
In addition to this, the CM also emphasized that the Prime Minister will be honored and welcomed by distinguished women achievers. Furthermore, the unique event will be exclusively managed by women, from stage management to security.
The conference is a part of a state-wide campaign marking the 300th birth anniversary of Devi Ahilyabai Holkar, a revered woman ruler. CM Mohan Yadav informed that the campaign is underway from May 26 to May 31 while addressing the ministers. The chief minister and Cabinet ministers paid floral tribute to Lokmata Devi Ahilyabai Holkar, a revered woman ruler of the former Holkar dynasty.
