Plix Introduces Products for Female Intimate Health Care
By: WE Staff | Wednesday, 4 May 2022
Plix just released a brand-new product for female intimate health, PCOD, and vaginal care. The launch of the new range represents Plix's foray into the feminine intimate health area, following a positive reaction to its clean nutrition and wellness products.
According to estimates, over 23% of Indian women experience menstrual problems, and almost 6% of women experience sexually transmitted and other urinary tract infections each year.
Apart from this, PCOD, also known as PCOS, has been a serious source of concern for Indian women, with prevalence rates ranging from 3.8 percent (under 19 years old) to 16.81 percent (20-29 years old) and 11.58 percent (30-39 years of age). The lack of information and availability to sustainable, natural, and effective alternatives that can bring relief to women suffering from PCOD is the leading cause of PCOD and other similar issues.
Plix's new collection of feminine intimate health products efficiently treats PCOD and other disorders as one of the fastest-growing clean plant-based labels. When these treatments are taken on time, they can help affected women get rid of this threat and live a more comfortable, healthier, and happy life.
Plix Co-Founder Akarsh Zaveri stated, “Women’s health is one of the most under-discussed areas of healthcare in India. Despite all the attention on women's empowerment, there hasn’t been an adequate emphasis on major feminine health issues especially problems like PCOD. This, in turn, serves as a base for several other diseases such as diabetes, fatty liver, obesity, etc., that impact the quality of life adversely. At Plix, we are committed to all-around wellness for our female consumers, and the new range of products is aimed at addressing PCOD as well as some of the most prevalent and discomforting problems faced by the women.”
He further said, “Continuing our emphasis on finding natural, impactful, and sustainable solutions for health and wellness-related problems, we have created these formulations after extensive research and on the basis of the ancient Ayurvedic wisdom that has withstood the test of time. Our aim is to provide every woman with affordable and impactful as well as completely natural solutions for her intimate, menstrual or vaginal health problems. We have introduced four distinct products in this range, and will expand it further as per the need of our audience in the times to come.”
Plix, which launched in March 2019, offers a variety of plant-based, chemical-free, and preservative-free goods in a variety of categories, including weight reduction, hair and skin nutrition, everyday wellbeing, women's health, and fitness supplements.
