Pioneering Lifestyle Entrepreneur Diipa Büller-Khosla hosts South Asian Beauty Walk at Cannes
Leading global lifestyle influencer, activist, and beauty entrepreneur, Diipa Büller-Khosla will be representing her presence, for the 6th consecutive year, at the 76th edition of cinema's most famous event, Cannes Film Festival 2023.
Diipa broke down barriers for several other Indian influencers that came after by being the first global influencer from India to walk the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival in 2018. She will make her eighth appearance on the famous red carpet in 2023.
An Indian-founded beauty brand will be presenting a selected ensemble of South Asian global talent, including female entrepreneurs driving change in fashion, business, media, and entertainment, for the first time in the festival's history. In addition to highlighting Diipa's long-standing relationship with the greatest film festival in the world, becoming the first Indian-founded beauty brand to host at Cannes highlights India's expanding importance and influence in the world's luxury market.
Diipa will collaborate with powerful women like Raja Kumari, a global music superstar, and Dolly Singh, a content producer, and actor, to recognize and honour South Asian women from a variety of backgrounds who are leading the way for younger generations.
Speaking about this first-of-its-kind diverse partnership Diipa Büller-Khosla explains; "Bringing these incredible women to Cannes, and with them the millions of girls that look up to them and feel inspired, we are paving the path a bit further had to compete for that slot when I performed my first Cannes red carpet walk six years ago. We have a portion of an army here now. We are accurately depicted. I crawled, so now we may go on. Next time, we'll run, and eventually, we'll fly.”

“The all-female, powerful trio will participate in a first-of-its-kind 'Power Table' red carpet walk to promote Wild's fundamental idea of ayurvedistry: where Eastern truth meets Western facts to create a new concoction fit for the 21st century. This will usher in a new era marked by South Asian pride and add a little desi masala to the world as we know it.”

Adding on further Diipa Büller-Khosla explains, "At indē, Wild we empower and celebrate women via unique South Asian beauty rituals that have shown their worth both over the ages and in recent clinical researchI'm thrilled that ind wild is the first Indian company to honour South Asian brilliance in Cannes.”
“We are still dedicated to telling the inspiring tales of South Asian women achievers and activists who have contributed to spreading the South Asian narrative in the diaspora via their diverse initiatives for social concerns and neighbourhood development. This year in Cannes, I will honour outstanding women who have South Asian ancestry and who have paved the way for future generations of female leaders by shattering stereotypes and promoting positivity about skin tone, health, confidence, and body size. I sincerely wish to support women in their efforts to develop towards good change by making them feel strong, confident, proud, and attractive.”
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Manushi Chillar, Anushka Sharma, Vijay Verma, and Aditi Rao Hyadri are just a few of the Bollywood celebrities that will be walking the red carpet alongside the renowned blue-eyed Cannes favourite Diipa this year.
