Pinky Promise Joins The Cartier Women's Initiative

Divya Balaji Kamerkar, CEO and Co-Founder of Pinky Promise, the world’s first AI/ML powered clinic for women’s sexual and reproductive health, has been selected as a 2026 Cartier Women’s Initiative fellow, recognising her work in redesigning how women access sexual and reproductive healthcare through an AI-enabled, instant care delivery model.
Chosen from applicants across the world, Divya represents the South and Central Asia category of the 2026 Cartier Women’s Initiative Awards, which recognise women entrepreneurs using business as a force for positive change. Established in 2006, the programme supports fellows through financial grants, access to a global network, and leadership development.
Pinky Promise was founded to address a structural gap in women’s healthcare. In India, more than 260 million women are unable to consult a gynaecologist when needed, driven by a combination of cost, limited access, and social stigma, leading to delayed or avoided care.
The company uses a chat-first, on-demand model to make consultations private, immediate, and affordable. Women can connect with qualified gynaecologists, receive a diagnosis, and access treatment within minutes at a starting price of ₹99, with AI supporting doctors in managing consultations at scale.
Since launch, Pinky Promise has served over 400,000 users and nearly 50,000 customers. More than half of its users are consulting a gynaecologist for the first time. Pinky Promise has customers from every state and district in India, pointing to a growing shift towards accessible, stigma-free and continuous women’s healthcare.
“Women’s healthcare in India hasn’t just been under-served, it's been under-designed. For millions of women, the barriers aren’t only medical; they’re social, emotional, and deeply personal. At Pinky Promise, we are rethinking care from the ground up, making it private, immediate, and continuous. When you remove friction, women don’t just seek care; they stay with it. Being part of the Cartier Women’s Initiative gives us the platform to take this model to far more women, much faster,” said Divya Balaji Kamerkar, CEO and Co-Founder, Pinky Promise.
“We are delighted to welcome Divya Balaji Kamerkar to the Cartier Women’s Initiative community. Through Pinky Promise, she exemplifies how entrepreneurship can drive meaningful, positive change. We look forward to supporting her journey and celebrating the impact she is creating,” said Kiyo Taga, Managing Director of the Cartier Women’s Initiative.
About the Cartier Women’s Initiative
The Cartier Women’s Initiative is an international entrepreneurship program established in 2006 to support women impact entrepreneurs who are building a more inclusive society for generations to come.
Since its inception, the program has been dedicated to identifying and accompanying women whose businesses address some of the world’s most pressing social and environmental challenges. Through a comprehensive approach combining financial support, access to a global network and tailored leadership development, the Cartier Women’s Initiative enables fellows to scale their businesses while strengthening their capacity to lead and create lasting impact.
Over the years, the initiative has grown into a vibrant international community of more than 520 community members, united by a shared ambition to drive meaningful change within their respective ecosystems.
At its core, the Cartier Women’s Initiative is guided by a set of enduring convictions: the belief that women are powerful agents of transformation, that talent is universal, while opportunities are not, that continuous learning is essential to progress and that sustainable impact is rooted in a deep commitment to the communities it serves.
About the 2026 Edition – Celebrating 20 Years
The 2026 edition of the Cartier Women’s Initiative marks the program’s 20th anniversary, a milestone that reflects two decades of commitment to supporting women entrepreneurs who are leveraging business as a force for good.
