Pernod Ricard India Names Subhasree De as Trade Marketing Manager

Pernod Ricard India has appointed Subhasree De as its new Trade Marketing Manager, taking a step further to bolster its commercial and marketing leadership. Subhasree made the announcement here on LinkedIn, saying she's excited to start a new chapter with the global wine and spirits company.
“I'm thrilled to begin my new position!”, posting the text below the pictures of the kids. Under the photographs of the children, Subhasree wrote, “I'm excited to start my new job! As a Trade Marketing Manager in Pernod Ricard India, #newjob speaks of his mission, “To create awareness among consumers in India about the high quality of premium brands.” This is a big step in her career given her years of sales, marketing and category development experience in fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) and alcoholic beverages.
As Subhasree assumes this new role she will be tasked to lead the trade marketing strategies for positioning the brand, running the retail execution and channel development for the premium portfolio of Pernod Ricard India. Trade marketing is an integral component to the process of linking brand strategy and sales execution and in close collaboration with distributors, retailers and sales teams, it helps to build a stronger market presence and consumer engagement.

Prior to joining Pernod Ricard India, Subhasree worked with Diageo India as Manager – Sales & Marketing. In her role, she was responsible for various aspects of sales planning, commercial execution and marketing campaigns, all helping to drive the growth of the business and enhance the customer relationship. Her background in the alco-beverage industry offers her valuable consumer knowledge, the route-to-market strategy and retail activation knowledge.
Prior to Diageo India, Subhasree worked with Nestlé, one of the world's leading food and beverage companies. Her stint at Nestlé provided a solid background in Sales Management, Category Development and Brand execution. She has experience in leading cross-functional teams and developing commercial plans and strategies, across the top multinational organisations, and has strong experience in enterprise-level business development and market growth.

Over the last 30 years, the company has established itself in India and its diverse portfolio of internationally recognized and home-grown brands.
