On March 29, Network18 and Truecaller to host a 'Call It Out' event on women's online safety

Network18 and Truecaller are hosting an event called 'The Call It Out Conclave' on March 29 in New Delhi, just days after the successful launch of the ItsNotOk campaign on Women's Day to raise awareness of women's harassment.
The event, which will take place at the Oberoi Hotel, will discuss concerns of online safety and security in today's digital world, as well as the actions made to make the online space safer for women and create a comfortable environment for them to report abuse.
It will be attended by celebrities such as Rajeev Chandrasekhar, Union Minister of State for Electronics and Information Technology, Bollywood star Raveena Tandon, and Shalini Singh, Special Commissioner, Delhi Police, among others.
Devusinh Chauhan, Minister of State for the Ministry of Communications, will deliver a special address. The Delhi Police Commissioner, Rakesh Asthana, will also deliver a special address.
Speakers will discuss cyber legislation (for women against harassment), the remedy accessible to report cases of harassment, and future debate with regards to women's safety, in addition to enlightening the audience on suggestions to improve cyber security awareness.
Attendees will also be treated to an in-depth discussion between Shereen Bhan, Managing Editor, CNBC-TV18, and Alan Mamedi, Co-Founder & CEO, Truecaller, on what led to the campaign and how they are bringing all stakeholders of society together to create a safer environment for women where they can voice out their issues without any concern.
With a talk between Sweden Ambassador Klas Molin and Annika Poutiainen, Board of Director, Truecaller, on personal tales and lessons from around the world, the conversations will take a global turn.
Political activist and MLA Atishi, designer and politician Shaina NC, Social Activist & Director, Centre for Social Research, Dr. Ranjana Kumari, lawyer Puneet Bhasin, DCP (IFSO), Delhi Police, KPS Malhotra, Founder and Director, Digital Empowerment Foundation, and Osama Manzer, Founder and Director, Digital Empowerment Foundation are among the other notable figures who will attend 'The Call It Out Conclave.'
The event will begin at 6 p.m. and will be broadcast live on CNN-News18 and CNBC-TV18 websites, as well as on YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter.
